The "Buffalo Steakhouse“ was opened in April 2017 in the former premises of the fish restaurant “Bei Josef.
You discover it rather by accident, since it is located in the small side street "Carrer Llum" a little away from the hustle and bustle, in the shadow of the "President" apartment complex.
This is right next to it Allsun Hotel Bahia del Este. The beach promenade is not far away.
The interior of the restaurant can be reached without steps. Entering the interior, a kind of wooden archway with the inscription "Buffalo Steaks" catches the eye.
The most important links to the Buffalo Steak House
The rustic character of the interior is accentuated by vaulted ceiling paneling and eye-catching wooden chandeliers.
The walls are completely covered with quarry stones or tiles. The furniture mainly consists of typical Spanish rustic tables and chairs.
The exterior restoration is largely covered and is separated from the pavement of the street "Carrer Llum" with planters.
The concept: classic steakhouse and other delicacies
As the name suggests, the "Buffalo" is a steakhouse. The motto "Steaks & More" is advertised in the entrance area.
The meat dishes from the lava stone, including buffalo Burger, chicken breast fillet, spare ribs and of course various different steaks make up the largest part of the menu.
There is also a side dish of either a small mixed salad or Mediterranean pan-fried vegetables, baked potatoes with herb sour cream, rosemary potatoes or leek mashed potatoes.
But not only steaks are served. In addition to various salads, Mexican tortillas and some fish dishes are also on offer.
A lobster menu is also on the menu, but must be ordered in advance. Various starters, mozzarella, nachos and various desserts, such as cream Catalana, complete the offer.
The selection of wines is impressive. You can also enjoy a well-chilled, freshly tapped beer with your meal.
Our personal opinion:
The "Buffalo" is an enrichment for the culinary offer of Cala Millor. It makes a very neat and inviting impression.
A very good steakhouse with great meat quality, friendly staff and good service.
During our visits, we were always asked about the cooking level and this was spot on.
But not only them Steaks are recommended, so far we have not experienced a letdown.
If you don't like meat, you should try the vegetarian Try tortilla with lots of fresh vegetables.
The German boss also takes the time for a short chat. So far we haven't experienced any long waiting times. A bit higher in price, but definitely for the quality okay.
