Transfer to Cala Millor on a Package Holiday
If you've booked a package holiday through your travel agency or an online provider the transfer from the airport to Cala Millor is usually included.
If you're not sure, check your travel documents or ask your tour operator before you set off.
Especially since the 2023 season it's becoming more and more common for cheap package holidays to be offered without a transfer included.
With package holidays, the transfer is mostly carried out by buses provided by the tour operators.
Unfortunately, this makes the transfer time longer, since other towns along the east coast and other hotels are also visited along the way.
So with a package booking you might end up spending 1.5 to 2 hours on the transfer alone.
If you don't fancy this “long” wait you can opt out of the transfer with your tour operator and instead use, for example, a taxi or one of the other options presented here.
You'll find the transfer buses easily and conveniently right in front of the exit of the terminal.
After you have collected your luggage from the baggage carousel have collected it, simply leave the restricted area.
There you will usually already find representatives of the tour operators with signs and name lists, to make it easier for you to find your way to the bus.
Simply look for your tour operator and get all the information about the transfer, e.g. where the bus is currently located. It couldn't be easier.

The transfer service “Hoppa”
An interesting alternative to a taxi or the bus is transfer services such as Hoppa.
These companies specialise worldwide in airport transfers taking guests to their accommodation.
Fortunately, they are also available in Mallorca.
The principle is simple.
You book the transfer online in advance.
This way, you can see the price you'll pay right away.
Simply enter the departure point and destination, and Hoppa's online calculator will instantly show you the matching price.
There are often even Hoppa vouchers available, allowing you to save, for example, 20% on the transfer.
With Hoppa, you simply choose whether you need a car, a minibus, or a much larger bus, for example for a group of travellers.
Transfer with the shuttle bus A42
Starting in 2017 and of course still in 2023, Mallorca offers a shuttle bus from the airport to Cala Millor and other east coast towns.
For this, you need to take bus A42, which every 20 minutes departs from the airport towards the east coast, and of course also on the way back.
On the way to the airport, the bus stops in the towns of Cala Bona, Cala Millor, Sa Coma, S'Illot, Porto Cristo, Manacor, Vilafranca, Montuïri and the airport (direction east coast to airport).
The bus from the airport then stops at the towns in the following order: Montuïri, Vilafranca, Manacor, Portocristo, s’Illot, and also Sa Coma, then Cala Millor and finally Cala Bona.
A42 airport bus
The travel time with this option is about 1:25 (one hour and 25 minutes).
Adults under 4 years old travel for free if they do not use a seat.
The more tickets you buy, the cheaper the transfer becomes per person.

Advantages of the A42 shuttle bus as a transfer solution
- Simple: hop on, sit back and get off in Cala Millor
- Affordable solution
Disadvantages of the A42 shuttle bus as a transfer solution
- Possible delays due to traffic along the way
- Longer transfer time compared to a taxi or Hoppa
- Your accommodation might be further from the bus stop, meaning you'll have to walk
